My name is Anna Olson, I am the PreKindergarten teacher at St. Mary School in Charlevoix Michigan.
I have lived in Northern Michigan all my life. I grew up in East Jordan- just a hop and skip away! I attended Central Michigan Universtiy to persue a career in Elementary Education with a Early Childhood Endorsement. I have always enjoyed working with children and a career in education just seemed to fit my personality. Although I have only been teaching for a few years, it seems as if I've been at it the majority of my life. I was very excited when I found out there was an opening at St. Mary's. I applied immidately. I had substitute taught for a few of the teachers and knew that it would be a great place to start my career.So here I am, at this wonderful school learning and teaching just like everyone else in the building. It has been an amazing journey for me and I know that there is wild adventure ahead of me. The students have taught me so much more than I thought, and sometimes make me laugh harder than I thought I ever could. Who knew four year olds were so hilarious?!
